Gift card questions
How does a house cleaning gift card work?
You choose an amount and tell us who it's for. We confirm the details with you, take payment, and send a printable gift card with a unique code by email or text. The recipient books a cleaning with Art's Cleaning, mentions the code, and the amount comes off their bill.
How much should I put on a cleaning gift card?
It depends on the size of their home and the type of cleaning. Not sure? Choose "Help me choose" in the form, tell us about their home, and we'll suggest an amount that covers the cleaning you have in mind. If the cleaning costs more, they pay the difference. If it costs less, the rest stays on the card.
Do Art's Cleaning gift cards expire?
No. Our gift cards have no expiration date and no fees. Any balance left after a cleaning stays on the card for the next visit.
What can the gift card be used for?
Any cleaning we offer at their address: deep cleaning, regular house cleaning, move-in and move-out cleaning, apartment cleaning, Airbnb turnovers and more. Some specialty services, like upholstery, tile and grout, and window cleaning, are available in Orange County only.
Can you send the gift card directly to the person?
Yes. Choose "Send it to them" in the form and add their email or phone number. We'll send the gift card with your message on the date you choose.
Can I buy a gift card at the last minute?
Yes. It's a digital gift card, so there's nothing to ship. It goes out as soon as your order is confirmed and paid.
Where can the gift card be used?
At homes in our service area: Irvine and cities across Orange County, plus Los Angeles areas including Santa Monica, Beverly Hills, Culver City, Brentwood and West Hollywood. If you're not sure their home is covered, add the city in the form and we'll check before you pay.
Who will clean their home?
Vetted, background-checked and fully insured cleaning professionals. Before the visit, we confirm the scope with the recipient, so they know exactly what's included.
Gift card terms
- Gift cards can be used for any Art's Cleaning Services cleaning at a home in our service area (Orange County and Los Angeles).
- Gift cards have no expiration date and no fees.
- If the cleaning costs more than the card, the recipient pays the difference. Any unused balance stays on the card.
- A remaining balance under $15 can be paid out in cash on request. Otherwise gift cards can't be exchanged for cash, except where required by law.
- Each gift card has a unique code. We keep a record of every card, so a lost card can be sent again.
