Spring Cleaning · Rancho Santa Margarita

Spring cleaning that resets your RSM home for the year ahead

By March, RSM homes have collected a winter’s worth of ordinary indoor dust and a coat of oak and sycamore pollen drifting off O’Neill Park and Saddleback Mountain. Spring cleaning is the annual reset — the visit that reaches blinds, patio furniture, accessible areas around appliances, and vent covers that may not be part of the regular biweekly checklist.

We focus the spring scope on what doesn’t get touched in normal recurring service: window tracks, blind slats, ceiling fans, baseboards, vent grilles, light fixtures, the oven exterior, behind the fridge, garage entry, mudroom interiors. For Robinson Ranch and Dove Canyon hillside homes we add extra time on the upper-story windows and exterior patio doors where Santa Ana wind dust packs in. Inside the oven, inside the refrigerator, inside cabinets and drawers, and interior window cleaning are optional paid add-ons, selected and priced separately before the visit.

Most RSM spring cleans land in March, April, or early May before allergy season peaks. Book once a year and we’ll calendar it 12 months out so you don’t have to think about it. A trained specialty-cleaning technician can separately quote hot-water extraction for eligible installed synthetic carpet after checking the fiber, care instructions, and compatibility. Eligible synthetic upholstery is considered only after the care label, manufacturer guidance, and compatibility are checked; leather and delicate fabrics are outside that service.

Good to know

Spring Cleaning in Rancho Santa Margarita: questions answered

How much does spring cleaning cost in Rancho Santa Margarita?

Spring cleaning in RSM ranges $280–$780 depending on home size. A typical 4-bedroom Las Flores or Melinda Heights home runs $400–$540. We give a clear upfront estimate with the scope confirmed in writing.

How is spring cleaning different from a regular deep clean?

Spring cleaning emphasizes air quality and allergen control — vents, blinds, ceiling fans, window tracks, baseboards. A standard deep clean covers similar ground but spring is timed to clear the winter buildup before allergy season.

When should I book my RSM spring clean?

March through early May is the sweet spot. We book up fast in those months — most clients book their next spring at the end of this year’s visit so they always have the slot they want.
