San Clemente winters are gentle but humid. By March, coastal homes have collected three months of marine-layer mildew in shower grout, salt residue on every metal fixture, red-tile-roof debris in patio drains, and storm-season buildup in slider corners. Spring cleaning is the annual reset that targets exactly these coastal-and-Spanish-mandate-specific buildups.

We focus the spring scope on what biweekly recurring doesn’t touch: window tracks (salt and sand), blind slats (marine-air dust), ceiling fans, baseboards, vent grilles, light fixtures, the oven exterior, behind the fridge, garage entry, and the slider-track corners where humidity sets in. For Sea Pointe and Cyprus Shore cliff-front homes we add extra time on patio glass and exterior-facing fixtures where salt-corrosion prevention matters most. Inside the oven, inside the refrigerator, inside cabinets and drawers, and interior window cleaning are optional paid add-ons, selected and priced separately before the visit.

Most San Clemente spring cleans book in March or April before peak humidity returns and surf-season visitors arrive. Mike can separately quote hot-water extraction for eligible installed synthetic carpet after checking the fiber, care instructions, and compatibility. For upholstery, Mike works only on eligible synthetic fabric after checking the care label, manufacturer guidance, and compatibility; we do not clean leather or delicate fabrics. Estate and oceanfront homes typically run $800–$1,500.
