An empty unit is the only chance to clean it properly. Cabinet fronts, closet shelves, the floor beneath where the refrigerator will sit, and the window tracks are all reachable now and effectively sealed once furniture lands. That matters more on the Westside than most people expect, because the previous tenant's turnaround here is often measured in days rather than weeks, and a quick landlord wipe-down is not the same thing.

The work varies with the building. New-build condos at Runway and Concert Park can arrive with construction residue on vent covers and exposed surfaces after final touch-ups. Fox Hills towers and Mariners Village units in Marina del Rey often need balcony-slider tracks cleared of harbor grit. Older Purdue Avenue apartments may need extra base-scope attention on cabinet fronts, handles, and appliance exteriors. Inside the oven, inside the refrigerator, inside cabinets and drawers, and interior window cleaning are optional paid add-ons selected and priced separately before the visit.

Timing is the hard part. Most Westside moves are built around an elevator reservation — a two or three hour window management gives you, once. We schedule the clean the day before that window wherever possible, file the vendor paperwork with the building in advance, and finish before the truck arrives. Mid-City Santa Monica and Century City moves get the same treatment.
